Those Who Intercept Fate's Passage

Hello and Good afternoon, Rejuv Nation!

 

Today, I will present the final part of the Interceptor theory, which brings all the previous theories I’ve uploaded into one. Let’s get started.

 

At Valor Mountain, when the Main Character (MC) attempted to save Nim and fell into the lava, Crescent appeared alongside Dr. Jenner, Nim, and Nancy. In the moment of peril, the MC came back to life. Another instance occurred when Melanie made Yveltal use “Decimation” on Melia. The MC pushed her out of harm’s way, taking the hit instead, but she, too, returned to life. Madame X referred to those who have died and come back as “Interceptors”. To me, the term “Interceptor” defines the ability to intercept death, which is termed in Garufan context as “Fate’s Passage”. 

 

Inside the Obelisk (Zeight), two individuals were injured according to their levels. This situation could lead to the complete obliteration of the Interceptor and the Interceptor Programs. Based on Life Usage, there are two hosts:

 

Host 1 has lost one life, suffering a severe head injury from a blast of powerful psychic energy, with a current life 25%.

Host 2 has lost three lives, which include an incident of combustion, obliteration by an explosion, and incineration by a beam, with a current life loss of 75%. Two hosts are Crescent and the MC.

As the story progresses, I discovered through the Archive texts that the Interceptor had limitations. They can travel throughout the universe where the Core exists, but if they stray too far from the planet, they will lose consciousness. Should an Interceptor perish, the Core would incur damage. If the Core becomes too severely damaged, the Interceptor will cease to exist. As a warning to all Interceptor subjects: “You do not live outside the realm of morality. Fail too many times, and that will be the end.” This would inevitably lead to the complete obileration of both the Interceptor and the Interceptor program.

 

During the Nightmare Realm, Ariana was rescued by Crescent. She spoke with Variya, who told her that the meets the criteria to become the next Interceptor.

 

Currently, there are three Interceptors: The MC (Ariana), Crescent and V (Valencia). Each has a different background except for V since there’s not much information of her yet.  According to the notes left by Rune, Variya created a method that gives individuals the chance to decide their own fates, known as the Interceptor. According to Karma’s programming, there must always be one active Interceptor at any given time. This user has the ability to defy the fate assigned by Karma; however, Karma can manipulate and guide the Interceptor as needed.

 

Additionally, the Interceptor possess “benefits” that are unknown to Karma, serving the purpose of balance. These benefits are locked deep within Zeight and include the ability to access numerous versions of themselves and their data, known as Interceptor Perks. These perks cannot be edited or removed by Karma

 

So my questions are that since there are backstories for Ariana and Crescent, but none for V (Valencia)?  What are the specific backgrounds and abilities of each of the three interceptors: MC (Ariana), Crescent and V (Valencia)?  And finally, what are some examples of the “Interceptor Perks” that can be accessed by the interceptors from Zeight, and how do these perks balance the influence of Karma?
