Spanish Mod

Hello, I am Clyon, a new modder working on the unofficial Spanish translation mod for the fan game Pokémon Reborn, currently on patch 19.5. This mod is a salvaged version of the previous mod created for 19.0, which attempted to utilize the new tools provided by the developers themselves to translate everything. Right now, as of today, 21st of June of 2025, I have a working file that changes the following:

-All previous NPC dialogues in 19.0, most were unchanged from 19.0 to 19.5.
-All attack names
-Most ability names
-Menus
-Basic information in combat and Pokémon stats.

There is a ton of work to do, and I am one man. I am currently looking forward to some help in providing me with information or a hand in working alongside, as I am currently extracting all the official information for the remaining objectives since wikidex (Bulbapedia in Spanish) currently does not have:

-All attack descriptions

 

-All abilities descriptions

 

-All item descriptions

I am also looking for anyone wanting, at the pace they want, to check all dialogues in the game, as even if most were automated to be changed, there should be some errors and some phrases, if not properly translated, missing. For those wondering, "where is that mod?, There is a file in the official discord, in reborn mods, called spanish.dat, which currently holds version 0.3.2 of the mod, now in alpha. It is also in my thread in this server, for anyone willing to take a view on it.

 

No. I won't provide any links to those sites until the project is officially done the project. I do not wish for a person looking to play this game only to pass through a suspicious page, only for a ahalf-bakedd mod yet. It needs time and patience for this to be complete.

Before anyone asks, while wikidex explains the effects of each attack, ability, and item, which is the real information, it is not the official description the Pokémon Company provides; therefore, it is not a proper translation of the already available information in English.

And while I could do with Google Translate, it is also not even close to what the official descriptions in Spanish are for these, either.

Since the spanish community in this game pops up and dies down due to the lack of any current version of the mod, I think it is neccesary for a proper version which most non english-only spanish speakers can play without any sort of problem along the way, due to the mod breaking out the moment they update to 19.0.

I do not expect any big help, I have already made up my mind that this project may be a standalone. However, even the slightest of gestures in good faith may be able to sustain this project or make it move along.

I'm down to help with this, probably more along the line of getting things together that have official translations. My spanish is fairly good, but not quite good enough to put together a full translation work (it's my second language and I've lived in the US my whole life so I'm not necessarily "immersed" in the language enough to translate more abstract/niche concepts).
