Story:

A place further away from Azure Bay at the Kalos region, it contains several islands that are combined to become the Sylph Islands, which houses mostly Fairy-type Pokemon and Pokemon from the Fairy Egg Group.

Yancy just received a mysterious invitation to Sylph Islands after a couple unfortunate events of her life, and that might just help her wind down and take a vacation to uplift her spirits. But she might get more than she bargained for, as she embarks on an adventure after she encountered a friend nicknamed Sally and help fulfill her quest to restore the power of the elements.

Ocassionally, you'll cross paths with an organization called Team Archfairies, with the only leader, Ivoch. They, too, seek to acquire the same elements that Yancy and Sally are holding. Whether purpose they have to steal those elements remain to be seen at the moment.

During this quest, Yancy and Sally will encounter each Eeveelution, which will challenge them as their "trial battles". They serve to guard the temple but will let them pass if Yancy manages to clear those battles. Those will be hard, so she'll need all the power she can get!

Sylph Islands currently has 8 badges, and would continue to be developed until it is truly finished.

Features:

-Pixie City is a "sandbox mode" in which the player will have access to almost everything such as powerful items, move tutors, relearner, name rater, nature changer, and EV training rooms. However, the prize money received from trainers will be extremely low.

-The Sylph Islands Pokedex - with a dex cut that makes Sword & Shield Pokedex seem larger in comparison - contains over 120 Pokemon!

-Thanks to DemIce, persistent weather and inspecting element are enabled:

  • -----Inspecting Element is for viewing the stats and other aspects of a battle from both your and/or your opponent's Pokémon before you select a move. Pressing the S button will get you to view from one of the selected targets.

  • -----Persistent Weather makes it so that the weather will return to what it once was (the initial weather took over again). So, if the weather was rainy in the first place, and you change it to hail, sand, or sun, it'll last for a specific duration, and after that will revert back to rain weather.

-Field effects from the archaic Rejuvenation V10.2 (with a bit of modifications due to Gen VIII/IX stuff) and one new field called Speed World that is based on an emphasis on speed!

V7 is now out, well, it actually was out for a few weeks ago but just had to fix something in case I've overlooked something. And Yancy did find two areas that she got stuck at and showed me those spots. Even then, it's not perfect, since there may be other overlooked ones. The time I spent the most was mapping Starlight Carnival because I kept repeatedly watching Sonic Colors playthrough to get the gist of what their features was like and to try and replicate something similar. I feel like the next version is going to take even longer because this is where I'll start making the climax of the story (V2 through V8-9 is the player going through various islands that contains a temple for the player to restore elements). Hopefully I put my focus on the program so that it doesn't drag out too long!

Reupload!

While Vince is still away from RPG Maker for a while, I took the opportunity to add a couple of things. Note that this is not a new version since it's still at V7. That means there's still seven badges with the level cap of 45. Anyhow, this is what I've been messing with (or should I say "made progress"):

-Added a bit of dialogue of Alain telling Yancy and Sally where Pitch Black Forest is exactly at.

-Hidden Islands 5 and 6 created!
-Togekiss flights added in Starlight City and one further Togekiss in other cities that'll take you to Starlight City.
-Town Map added for "Sylph Islands Northeast Quadrant" which covers the areas of Twinkle Village and Starlight City.

Hidden Island 5 contains stuff related to Rock-types while Hidden Island 6 contains stuff related to Fighting-types and EVs. As such, unlike the first four islands whose map size is small (around 100x100), those two are both 500x500! Those two did take a while to finish due to thinking and filling in as I go. But hopefully soon both Vince and I will concentrate on V8 stuff!

Enjoy!

Re-upload a moment ago! I decided to push the content for V8, so it can be playable anytime now! Some things that won't appear at the moment would be the town map for the Southeast Quadrant of Sylph Islands. But other than that, enjoy!

I'm probably going to play and record the content at some point.

Finished recording this morning. Only two videos but overall took almost an hour~!

I did notice TM19 being Secret Power instead of Roost and Roost became TM67 via items.txt. So I may have to make an reupload eventually, maybe with or without V9 content.

In every generation, the TMs are different while others still stay the same. I guess the tm.txt was based on the super old rejuv V10's tms, and probably the same for the predecessor.

Re-upload!

While Vince is still away from RPG Maker for a while once more due to recently playing a game that he enjoyed over a decade ago, I decided to make maps of the final dungeon while waiting for Vince to draw certain things, which he actually did! Again, this is still V8 with the level cap of 50, so story-wise is unchanged.

-Made female Eevee sprites (total of 8 due to front and back sprites for normal and shiny counterparts). Sprite wise is mostly editing Eevee's tail, so 99% is the same.

-Added encounters for Jungle Joyride and Vitality Forest (there wasn't any wild pokemon before during the previous upload)

-Added town map for the Southeast Quadrant and Center Quadrant for Sylph Islands.
