Professor Layton: Pokemon Master Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 inconsistant mess octillery (M/F) @ leftovers Trait: inconsistency EVs: 252 def/ sdef calm Nature - protect - substitute - surf - toxic/ ice beam ok inconsistency time! start by by protecting and hoping that you get something to help you survive the next turn and then substitute. lather rinse repeat untill octillery starts looking like the red terminator and then start koing pokemon. use toxic if you want a more wall based pokemon or ice beam for more attack. whatever you do dont let your only attack be surf unless you use toxic or else storm drain and water absorb will leave you with nothing. but know the toxic surf combo is slowed by natorrai and stopped completely by hydrating vaporeon. After a sharp spe boost she's able to outspeed threats such as garchomp and the like and spam sub/protect easier to get the boost she's looking for. Surf for stab and toxic for water absorbers.
