Theme Tour XXX: No STABility

Sorry for late notice but today, in approximately five hours and thirty min from when I post this, I will be hosting another theme tour. In this theme tour the only moves the pokemon are allowed to use are non stab moves (aka moves that are not the same type as the user) which also means that protean users will be banned. Uber pokemon are also banned from this tour (list is below).

Arceus (all forms), Blazakin, Darkrai, Deoxys-A, Deoxys-N, Dialga,Genesect, Giratina, Giratina-O, Groudon, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Kyurem-W, Lugia, Mewtwo, Palkia, Rayquaza, Reshiram, Shaymin-S, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zekrom,

Take note that this is different from the last theme tours since manaphy and zygrade are no longer in ubers and genesect is now considered ubers.

The rules are as follows

Freeze Clause

Sleep Clause

OHKO Clause

Self KO Clause

Evasion Clause

Species Clause

Disallow spectators [till finals]

Signups at 7:00 PM and actual tournament @ 8:00 PM Eastern time zones.

There will be prizes for first and second place!!

Weeee! Am I right in thinking that STAB Status moves are also banned?

Yea all moves, including status moves, have to be a different type!

What about things like Mega Evos? How do they factor in?

All the non uber megas are allowed in tour since most of them rely on their stab moves for damage.

Just two things real quick:

Since Mega Pinsir's ability is Aerilate, a Mega Pinsir with Normal Attack is a no-no right?

And just a minor thing: A pokemon with Normalize shouldn't be able to enter (I know, SKITTY AND DELCATTY), but still...

yea good question!

Aerilate makes moves flying which than makes it stab so normal moves and flying moves would be banned on mega pinsir.

Same with the ability refrigerate and pixilate

Hmm yea i hear a lot of people complain about time so i thought that moving it to saturday would help. i could move it one more hour back if people think that could help?

Welp, it's on Saturday, so it would certainly help me. Earlier is better on weekends most of the time
