Unown @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ice] / Hidden Power [Psychic]

Ah, Unown. Unown is my favorite Pokemon to use in competitive battling! Why, you might ask? Simpy because of the offensive prowess that Unown is able to bring to any team. His moveset contains his only move, Hidden Power, which is incidentally his best move as well. This set uses the Ice variety which allows Unown to easily get the OHKO and 2HKO on threats like Poochyena and Bidoof respectively. HP Psychic is also slashed in because that allows Unown to get a STAB bonus, though he will lose some coverage, so HP Ice is usually the better option. Also, Hidden Power is an EXTREMELY versatile move, which you can change to cover any threats that the rest of your team may not have covered, such as Magikarp. The EVs allow Unown to outspeed very few things, including Bidoof and Poochyena with Neutral speed natures and 252 Speed EVs. The SpAtk EVs are used to get the OHKOs and 2HKOs that Unown needs to get, and the Defense EVs are put in to hopefully shake off a little damage from a well placed Tackle. All in all, Unown is one of the strongest Pokemon out there, and can find a place on any team. Just make sure that the other Pokemon will be able to support him, otherwise Unown might have a harder time against tougher Pokemon such as Chandelure and Excadrill.
