James-Sensei Posted January 10, 2014 Share Posted January 10, 2014 Animation: A wonderful blend of traditional Japanese for the backgrounds, and modern animation for the characters Setting: Jigoku (Japanese version of hell) Plot 1st part only: The Enma is swamped with due to under staffing issues and calls for for the main character Hozuki (A demon with one horn, with a spiked iron club for a weapon). who is investigating a disturbance of a Japanese folk hero is causing who is followed by his three companions. My thoughts:The setting is what first got me hooked, then the main just was overkill, his straight man act makes his own lines humorous, and wasn't bored at all through viewing this anime.
