Ok, so I'm doing the stealthy approach on Rhodochrine Jungle to avoid being captured on this part of the story (Specially since this is a new way of playing this part of the game compared to early versions), and while I was doing this, a question popped into my head:
Since getting captured will trigger the interaction with Cain and Heather (And the same old one with Fern being an asshole to you when you are in the Nuzleaf cage), is there any difference in the later story with the characters if you do one route or the other? Besides the difference in the inmediate fight with Team Meteor, of course~
