[Ep19] Game turning black when changing window size

Hello guys,

 

I just wanted to start a fresh new game with Episode 19 coming out.

 

But as soon as I set the window size to any different than medium the game goes black.

 

The game itself is still running in the background, but it's not the same if I can't see what's going on, right?

 

Any solutions?

I don't know about you, but I'm able to manually change the window size like a regular window even if my options say Medium. Maybe you could try that.

Nah also results in a black screen for me..

I have no idea, this is one of those hard to diagnose problems (as it is probably not related to the game itself). What platform are you running, do you have a dedicated graphics card, what messages are on the terminal (when you run it from the command line)? Perhaps someone has had the same issue.

I am running Windows 11 on my Laptop, which runs on a 1660Ti.

 

What do you mean by "What messages are on the terminal"?

 

When I run the file through my cmd window it just starts the game in a black screen window with the sound on again.

 

No "messages" here..

Hmm... curious, I get info on the commadline like this:

 

Was an errorlog.txt created on your save directory (unlikely but might be wort a shot)?

My Issue got resolved by a fellow in the Discord realm!

 

Just had to search my NVIDIA 3D Settings and turn "Antialiasing FXAA" on for the game.

 

Let's choose my starter then.
