DarkLight Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I can confirm that this is required for getting Ditto because I had to do this to find that little pink blob even though I saw the same dialogue when I got Happiny. You didn't miss anything. Quote

Red'sCharizard Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Go back to the abandoned factory, with the ice starway leading up to it, and go to the Pokemon puzzle. Ditto should be in a cage above a Makuhita, or at least that's how it was set for me. Interact with the cage and Ditto should transform into Makuhita, use close combat on the door, and it will want to join your party. Quote
