Shenzou 1
Iie wakarimasen, I should've mentioned this from the beginning that I started learning Japanese about 2 weeks ago.... Ehh already a clown of myself the moment I get back... -.-
Maelstrom 312
ii desu yo. - that's okay. probably still learning the first words and a few of the first hiragana characters, huh. You'll probably see most of these words come up in your class. http://www.tofugu.com/2010/10/01/the-100-most-important-japanese-words/
Shenzou 1
Yep, pretty much sadly... With the whole hai wakarimashita and sumimasen iie which I sort of have all the pronunciations done and stuff. But, having to memorizing hiragana is a pain..
Maelstrom 312
Hiragana is the easy part though. Katakana has a lot of similarities, but is a bigger pain. And then kanji is just ... well, it makes you want to give up on ever being able to read Japanese fluently. Benkyosuru- to study Kaeru- to return (home) btw, japanese numbers suck. prepare for it. Shenzou 1
My professor should just the numbers up to 19. Honestly I'm lucky that tutoring sessions are offered a hour and 30 minutes before my class.
Maelstrom 312
Oh dude, yeah. There's like no one to actually help with Japanese once you're out of class for the most part, so study groups and tutoring sessions with people who know more is really worth doing. I learned pretty quickly in the classroom, but then kinda forgot stuff because I couldn't practice it outside of class and then had days in between classes to forget.
