A couple things to keep in mind are that if you're on a balance team you're going to need your tanks to be able to handle the damage output and hit back strong enough to soften them up. Half her team is weak to fairy also. Given that her team is generally more about outspeeding its opponents and doing damage that way. Taking away her speed helps immensely, since most of her pokemon are somewhat frail. Most of her pokemon have setup moves. Having a way to deal with that takes away some of the threat, so pokemon with unaware, like quagsire, or pokemon that can roar out opponents reliably can be helpful.
