WhiteyMcFly Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Unless it was specifically changed in Episode 9, you don't actually have to read the Captain's Log before entering the Rail Cave. I took two trips into the cave, both of them before reading the log, and one before even reaching the train itself. If I'm not mistaken, the Rail Cave contains two objectives: Eevee, and Trick Room.
