Found a really strange bug.

I was getting ready to fight Novae to get Eevee in the Amethyst cave. I had my lycanroc dusk form use Accelerock, and like expected it was super effective, until I switched up my team.

 

I added a Litleo to my team to deal with her Tsareena. After doing that, I noticed my Lycanroc's accelerock was no longer super effective on Novae's Trumbeak. After a bit of fiddling, I found out that this only happens when I put Lycanroc in the first spot of my party, and Litleo in the second spot. For some weird ass reason, Litleo being in the second spot of my party interfered with the super effectiveness of this move. It's only Accelerock, too, since Rock tomb is still super effective. Litleo has Moxie, so maybe it's moxie that's interfering instead.

 

I included my save file in case devs want to look at it and figure it out. Regardless, it's a very insignificant bug so no hurry  Just thought it was worth mentioning

Edit: Ok it also happens when I have quagsire in the 2nd spot of my party, whether it's shadow form or purified. This is weird

It isn’t a bug.  You just need to read the field effects manual.  Rock attacks (and certain others) gain a random typing of Fire, Water, Grass, or Psychic.  It isn’t super effective against Trumbeak because it gained the Grass typing.

Huh, thanks for explaining. I thought it might be a field effect, but since I tried to replicate it like 30 times both with litleo in the second spot and without and it always ended up being super effective without it in 2nd spot and not super effective with it in 2nd spot I figured it was a weird bug. Guess I just got really, really weird RNG on those type-adds lmfao.
