You need to turn the field into a short circuit field while battling the man left of the entrance room. These are the moves that can do this:

 

Discharge        Explosion         Selfdestruct         Magnitude         Fissure

         Earthquake         Ion Deluge        Bulldoze            Tectonic Rage   Gigavolt Havoc
