Now the laptop has pulled the old shift shifty on me and the sound card has died one month after the warranty expired. My problem is now i can't play Reborn with out a DirectX Audio error popping up. Can someone help me circumvent this? Thanks in advance Edit: I should probably mention that the laptop has a myriad of other problems so getting it fixed would probably cost as much as it does. Also I am a uni (college for you Americans) student so i have no money. It might be a driver problem. Have you tried updating your driver for your soundcard? Does any other app cause this error? Eh, then the only option you have is buying a usb soundcard, I've found some online as low as 2 euros (here in Europe), so you basically have to sacrifice one coffee for the magnificent sound experience of the game (of the whole internet to be precise!).
