Stuck on bagon

I am stuck at this point of the game. I am trying to hunt for Bagon, but this blocks my way to get it? What is the best pokemon to have Heat Wave rather than Charizard?

It also took me a while to figure this out, but am not sure what to do when it says 'Bagon is unresponsive'.

How do you wake him up?

where you found Blastoisite there a rock you can go behind you have to run up all the little spaces takes a couple minutes then it leads out to the cliff, bagon ties to fly take a revive down to him near the second Hiker going down anther field hint should appear  and use something like blizzard climb up the newly revealed rockclimb and heatwave it revive the bagon with a pokesnax
