explain tactician please

like the title says, just went and caught a meowth that has tactician and from the sound of it, any moves that are weak get double attack. Am i right or wrong? and will it effect STAB?

It won't get double attack, moves at base 60 power or less are boosted 50%. so that 60 power bite becomes 90 base power. And yes, that's no accounting for stab for moves like scratch and fake out.

So if i take all that into account then it goes something like this:

Scratch (60 base power) + Tactician Boost (50% boost) = Scratch at 90 bast power + STAB (1.5x) = Scratch at a total of 135 base power?

Am i on the right track?

That's the calculation order yes but Scratch is hardly 60 base power
