Does anybody know how to open up this gate here? I gotta know what the heck is behind it!

It's related to a quest to get a certain pokemon to start the quest you need to surf south of the route leading to golden leaf town

You need surf and flash for this quest, you can get flash from the casino if you didn't already

Oh yeah, I've been meaning to ask: Are there any easier ways to earn money? I can't really seem to be able to go higher than around 25K-ish

As of V10 it's become more difficult to get money. In V9 we used to be able to get money from the pokemon breeders  but right now the only way to grind for money is to battle the team xen grunts in Dr. Jenkel's lab a few times

Ugh. What is it with Reborn and Rejuvenation and making it hard for players to earn money to buy much needed healing items I wonder

Lol I think they do this so we can't just spam items in battle
