Some people are having trouble with it cause they evolved some of the pokemon(My dumbassself included) It doesnt need to be that pokemon specific, just the same species with your OT/TID and obtained in 7th street Proof(Forgive my poor paint skills): Spoiler Quote

I didn't have the Loudred anymore, so I just made an egg, which (and this is the difference to yours) didn't hatch in /th street, but near the Abandoned Power Plant. Quote
