Unable to complete sidequest

So I am doing ARC's sidequest, but I don't have the roggenrola or the vanillite from 7th street, because for some reason I was stupid and released them. I've tried breeding new ones, but they don't seem to count. So now I can't progress the side quest. Any solutions?
