I mean, I kind of doubt it, since the games only came out a week or two ago, but I really want to try a ton of Monotypes using the new Pokemon. The sprite in question there was quickly made up for the purposes of that specific moment so doesn't mean gen 7 is coming in very soon. E19 is still the most likely time and while there is a vague possibility it could be earlier I certainly wouldn't expect its mechanics to be fully available in E17 even if some work has been done on implementing them.
