Avatar size

Her, not sure if this is in the correct place, but I wanna have a go at designing my own avatar so I just wondered what the size should be

I am a fan of squares, so having a avatar that's the same both length works very well. Ultimately, the size should be up to you in a way. The recommended size when you change your forum avatar says 200px, which is what I am using as my forum avatar right now. It looks good and works. Unless you aren't a fan of Square, rectangle sized ones can be a thing. 200px wide by 300px length is a nice size.

The original resolution of the avatar doesn't really matter as the forum will rescale and crop your avatar. So I recommend you find yourself an avatar that you like, and let the forum software do the rest.

Thanks for the help, I went with 300x300 in the end, granted its not amazng but i think its pretty cute
