Laptop Problems

So my laptop all of a sudden decided that it cannot handle more than one program running at the same time. This means I cannot have word opened up and the internet as well without the entire system crashing. I do not know how to resolve this or what could be the issue.

I am thinking of getting a new laptop, something that is reasonably priced maybe in the $500 to 600 range. Does anyone have any recommendations? Also, I am not a fan of Macs so we get forget about them.

try to clean it up; over the years, dust, hair and other things tend to stack up. If you don't have the tools to do it, give it to someone who knows about that sht

How long have you had this laptop for? Can you think of anything that happened BEFORE your laptop shit itself that could have damaged it somehow? Have you checked for any malicious software or just useless software running in the background?

Try to fix it before replacing it, it's the cheaper alternative. Chances are you can fix your laptop if you spent a few hours on it and save yourself half a grand. If push comes to shove you can always factory reset your laptop and if it isn't a hardware issue that will fix it.
