How to make my Diggersby stronger?

I've heard that he was really strong but at level 80 (with adamant nature) it's only reached 130. It doesn't do much attack.

Basically normally Diggersby is actually pretty weak. It has a base 56 atk stat which is rather...well it's awful. However, the reason Diggersby is strong is Huge Power like mde said. With that ability Diggersby basically gets Free Swords Dance without having to set it up ((and can still get to +6)), so it's a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge ((Eh? EEEEEEEEEEEEEH?)) boon to Diggersby and makes it a powerhouse that doesn't need to set up, but can set up as well. ((since I think it gets SD.))

Without Huge Power, it's not really worth using. It suddenly becomes amazing as soon as it gets that Hidden Ability.

By the way, the Huge Power boost doesn't show on the stat screen, it'll still say you have 130. The ability does work in Reborn, that's just how it works.
