We're thinking we might switch out team members as we progress, we'll see how that goes.

I'm streaming my playthrough of the game with my friend co-commentating. Unfortunately there really isn't a schedule for when we stream... if you'd like to get caught up on our playthrough, I'm uploading it in parts to Youtube. (We're actually going live right after I post this topic!)

Good luck in your first run-through! I have had my own troubles going through this game for the first time, but I think you already got some of the pieces of a solid team in the making.

I definitely recommend you fulfill as many side quests as possible because they often reward you with Pokemon and items that otherwise wouldn't be accessed. I personally used a lot of resources on this forum to get through this game (Pokemon Location list, In-game Item Location list, and a semi-incomplete guide to Pokemon Reborn) so if you want to use them, then by all means do so because they're right here.

Another recommendation I have is that you should try to look up the movepool of every Pokemon you catch because sometimes a Pokemon you think that might be good turns out to not have access to a crucial coverage move because the TM isn't available or it is an egg move (breeding in Reborn is possible, but kinda inconvenient tbh).

@Heliosan That's a good point but I feel like this isn't as big a problem in the newer games. That said, Pidgeotto doesn't get a good move until level 37...

I updated the original post with our current team. Still nothing too special, except for our nicknames I guess. I'll try to update after every recording session. Some people were saying that we should take Snubbull instead of Swirlix. I think they would both work out decently; for now we're sticking with Swirlix.

Slushie and I are looking to stream the game in a little bit here (if he would just get online...). Just like last time, we'd love it if some of you guys stopped by!
