The Castform from the trade for a Furret..

Hey ! I just wanted to know if pokemon from trading could be shiny ! . I saw that the Castform could be female/male and so, he was not always the same pokemon, so shiny locked.

I'm really sorry if this is not the good topic to ask this, or if someone already ask it..

I think shinnies are only from battles. However, Reborn may have changed that. You could always breed later for a shiny if you wish~

EDIT: OK sorry for the unprofessional answer but, my friends on the severer said they can be shiny.
