Ametrine mountain event pokemon help

Recently I started preparing my team for the battle against Terra. My team can handle ground types okay but not great, so i looked at

the hunting channel to see if there were any good pokemon i could use to spice up my team. They mentioned a foreign pokemon

injured near the peak area, but i looked around the area and couldn't find it. If it matters i had plenty of snacks for it and the weather

was rainy. Would this pokemon even be any good against Terra? You don't have to tell me what it is if you want to keep thing

interesting but it would be nice to know what i'm doing wrong. If its not any good do any of you know any pokemon that might be

better?

That's not a Pokemon that's going to be particularly helpful for a Ground-type Gym. I don't think that the event's weather specific either, and Pokesnax don't matter.

Mamoswine can eat up s a few ground moves and ruin other ground types. Piloswines are in Route 3, and I suggest you breed Iciccle Crash from Beartic ( Beartics/Cubchoos w/ Crash are in Ametrime).

You can do the same for a Sneasel.

Grass type do well, Breloom would do great with Seed Bomb/Fighting Moves.

Sneasel is unavailable until after Terra. You need to be able to use Waterfall outside of battle.

I'd love to do some breeding but i'm still not allowed to go through the agate gate,unless there's a daycare that i'm unaware of.

Walrein is awesome against Terra btw(90 Accuracy Blizzard FTW)

Thanks for the help. after careful consideration i think i'm going with the walrien since i have a spheal in my Pc already and i used up all my heart scales teaching my noivern boom-burst and hurricane, so i can't go with mamoswine.

You can always soft reset mine for some more if you prefer mamoswine.
