problems with weather and getting mudkip

i started a new save file and decided i wanted to add a mudkip to my team, i know how to get to him my problem is that it needs to be a rainy day i have tryed puting my calander forward 1 day at a time up untill mid july to see if i could get a rainy day to apear to get my mudkip, but all i got were mostly clear days a few weeks of bright sun and the odd windy day. i know that theres away to fix the problem as nikaboo memtions it in his video for finding mudkip but what he dosent say is how to fix the problem.

any advice on how to fix this would be great.

I could be really wrong here but I read somewhere that going to Obsidia Ward changes the weather of the next week or something.
So if you skip 7 days, go in and out of Obsidia Ward so it changes weather.

not really to sure how that will help but ill try, not sure where you got that info but it dosent seem to be working, yep you were right thtanks for that and sorry

It's not Obsidia it's opal.

ok i finaly got it to rain but now i have a slightly different problem, the guy that you talk to, to learn about the mudkip wasnt there and neither is the mudkip, any suggestions, all i can think about is going bck to nikaboos video
