I just got dragon age origin's as a secret santa, is it any good?

So for a secret santa present i got a activation code for dragon age origins( Funny thing was it was on a receipt and I thought it was some promo code for the game and started ranting to the person next to me, derp). Anyway i don't really play games like this, the only video games i really play are LoL, Showdown, and the occasional nostalgia in runescape. So has anyone played this game? is it any good?

I reckon is fine here. But Origins is what I consider one of the best Tradtional RPGs in recent years. If you love RPGs it is a great game. To date it has the best start to a story in any RPG I have ever played. The Origin Story was the best way I have ever seen to get players into the the story. It was made personal right off the bat. You got invested in your character because they were given a backstory. All 6 had their highs and were interesting.

Its a fun game spent hours playing it on the 360, but i do have a free copy i got on PC and the controls are a little different but its still the same game.

It's got a great story and kinda has that MMO feel for the controls. The story differs based on what character you choose too. Worth playing in my opinion
