I hated the puzzles lol. It's not what I play Pokemon for, I just want to get to the battles and the story and the grinding.

This late in the game, Snarl would be pretty useless tbh..
I mean, we already got Dark Pulse, no point getting Snarl..Snarl has uses on slower mons in some situations. Mind you less useful in this game since the AI will switch out if you debuff it too much, but you can play around that with hazards.

In that case, it's probably a bug. It seems there are a few terrain bugs out there right now.
Not long ago someone reported a similar problem with the psychic terrain, apparently it was failing to nullify priority moves used against grounded targets which is something it's supposed to do.
Funny thing is that one seems to work; I forgot that detail and tried to bullet punch a target on Psychic field and got reminded no that's wrong.

wtb Protect TM for my horrifying zombie mushroom creature
Edit: come to think of it there's a lot of missing TMs:
Dragon ClawPsyshock
Calm Mind
Ice Beam
Blizzard
Earthquake
Protect
Toxic
Fireblast
Thunder
Double Team
Rest
Focus Miss
Giga Impact and Hyper Beam
Swords Dance
Gyro Ball
PuP Punch
Dazzling Gleam
and others I am probably forgetting. I look forward to when we get them, some of these moves would be nice to have. It is pretty challenging to not have them, but I want >.<

By any chance would the affected Pokemon happen to be a flying type or have Levitate? Misty Terrain only prevents status effects for grounded Pokemon I believe.
Nope, being used by my Sylveon.

I'd like to see some of the current crests reworked also. Glaceon's crest for example seems good on paper, until you remember the AI doesn't think like a person and will just hit you with whatever coverage move it has that will hit almost as hard as the rock or steel move it would have otherwise used. The crests that just add resistance are useless outside of taking less damage on a switch.

I keep running into this issue. I use Misty Terrain and continue to get afflicted by status like Sleep and Paralysis regardless. Is it bugged or does background terrains just automatically disable these moves? I don't get it.

Sleeping in your bed at Tesla's Villa seems to have fixed it.

I'm gonna say it. I just got to Neo East Gearen and I automatically hate it. I liked the dark bladerunner looking city better :T
At least West Gearen is unchanged.

I'm not sure why but suddenly my game thinks it's daytime at 12:41am local time...I noticed prior it seemed to shift day/night randomly and then after doing a bit of time traveling for side quests the game seems to be stuck thinking it's daytime in the middle of what is actually midnight, even if I save and close the game and restart. How do I fix this? It's kind of annoying.

+1 for Electivire getting a Crest that gives it Fighting Stab/Resistences. I remember playing a ROMhack that made Electivire an Elect/Fight type and it just fit so well. Brick Break is an amazing tool to carry on your 'vire but it just doesn't hit THAT hard with no stab.

Well, you can still obtain one in the Alamissa Ruins after doing the Karen sidequest there.
Hopefully.. I really am sick and tired of equipping my mons with Plates/Berries because I have nothing better when I could use an Assault Vest, get my Obstagoon with Guts to have a Flame Orb, etc etc e tal
On my next playthrough I plan to abuse the Thief/Covet then Fling & Recycle thing as much as possible. Pretty tired of beating my head against assault vests without having my own.

Did this fight last night, it wasn't hard just annoying. Misty Terrain does not block the Lovely Kiss btw. I dunno if that changed in a recent update or the game is bugged, but the Gardevoir repeatedly put my Sylveon to sleep with Misty Terrain up.

I can never blame myself enough for not having done the Library Sidequest 2 in time in Sheridan. I play with a Feraligatr and a Banette, so I'm totally screwed now for the Life Orb AND Banettite. Hope we will able to complete that anyway in a future update.
Wait there was a Life Orb in the Library? I must have missed it, I never got a Life Orb...

NPCs do have random illegal moves. I just fought Bladestar Grunt Beya that had a Cofagrigus that knows Earthquake, lol.

I guess it would be difficult since the "skeleton" of Rejuvenation is based on versions were regional variants didn't exist so.. Yeah..
There's just 2 major things I want:
1 - All starters available and more event Pokemons
2 - More items like Assault Vest, Flame Orb, etcI've been wondering why I'm now at level 80 and can't find some species and several competitive items I just can't seem to get except when my Magician Delphox borrows them from enemies for a battle...looking at you, Assault Vest, the most egregious offender of having been on NPCs for a very long time but none for me :(

I only used one Pokémon against him :
Vivillon @ Elemental Seed
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 120 Def / 136 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
- Substitute
- Quiver Dance
- Sleep PowderIt's very simple. Skarmory is far too strong in the beggining of the battle. However, with the Elemental Seed, Vivillon outspeeds Skarmory and it can make it to sleep.
Then, set up only one Quiver Danse and it's time 2 OHKO it with 2 Hurricane. After this one, use Sleep Powder on the next Pokémon and set up a second Quiver Danser. Now, time to sweep.
This is not possible to have legitimately. Vivillion doesn't learn Substitute by Levelup, Tutor, or Breeding. Which means you'd need a TM you don't have access to.

You know it never even occurred to me that Shift battle style is in this game. This is my first playthrough and I started out on Intense mode since I was overconfident from other ROMhacks I played...it broke me after the 2nd gym leader and I went down to Normal haha. I never thought to change the battle style when I was stuck.

I relied super heavily on a Grapploct I raised to be Special Defense/HP with Bulk Up/Brick Break/Octolock/Any Other Move Here [I used Topsy Turvy for a while] and it took me several tries to get past her with my Grapploct/Delphox/Moody Octillery/Dedenne/Whiscash/Alolan Dugtrio.
You NEED something with Brick Break on your team to smash through the screens, I think she sets up Aurora Veil? Otherwise her Cold Truth just hits so hard that you won't be able to compete. I imagine if you had a Hariyama with Thick Fat it'd probably chew through her team pretty easily. I had already raised Grapploct previously for using Octolock to crack open the big Rift Boss pokemon (which works AMAZING btw). Good luck! She's one of the hardest bosses imo.

Made an account just to reply to this thread.
Yeah this fight is stupid with how many advantages are stacked and how restricted you are. I raised a whole team of Elec/Rock/Steel thinking I could fight for control of the terrain and then destroy him, only to realize too late that Mountain can't be changed to Cave (why? You can change Cave to Mountain...). So here's what I did instead:
Steelix (Smack Down, Dig[Turned out to be useless...], Rock Tomb, Stealth Rock)
Electivire (Brick Break, Ice Punch, Thunderpunch, Light Screen)
A. Lapras (Perish Song, Rock Slide, Psychic, Sandstorm [turned out to be useless...])
Togedemaru (Spiky Shield, Nuzzle, Zing Zap, Fell Stinger)
A. Golem (Stone Edge, Explosion, Thunderpunch, Smack Down)Ampharos (Cotton Guard, Light Screen, Discharge, Power Gem)
Nuzzled the Skarmory then setup Stealth Rocks with Steelix...you can debuff once with Rock Tomb then Power Herb Dig to kill Skarm. Swanna comes out next, let Steelix die, then go to Togedemaru and commence trolling with an entire team holding Red Cards to bounce his team around into Stealth Rocks. Togedemaru can take out a couple pokemon by itself easily if played right. Used Togedemaru to paralyze then Electivire to Icepunch Dragonite in its stupid goofy face and get rid of it after some stealth rocks. I cheesed his broken Mega Pidgeot with Perish Song.
Ultimately I think that's the best way to deal with him, since from reading various threads wondering why I couldn't control the field it looks like someone decided to just take away your ability to do that (which is like the main gimmick of this game...talk about lame...) so if you can't win clean and fairly you can always just troll him to death by playing the kind of way that'd get you slapped in person.

Interceptor is not YOU the player, because Crescent is also an "Interceptor" and has died once.
