Someone on this post said it's after the 8th gym.

Ok, so for anyone else with this issue, I figured out a fix. First, reset to a earlier save from before you even entered mount valor and got the jenner cutscene. Next, make sure you go to telia resort and enter the manor to trigger the melia cutscene. Then, go upstairs to talk to venam. Only after you have finished that should you go and magma drift into mount valor. You will know it worked because someone will talk to you after you enter and give you emotion powder.

After calmness activates i don't see a way to go up so I go down, but after I get as far as the hq place where you raise the bars, the mood changes back to neutral upon entering and then the exit back down is blocked by a tree.

I think mount valor was changed in v13 cuz i checked the guide but it seems like everything is different

What are you supposed to do after you activate the calmness crystal in mount valor? I walk around and go down but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to go.
