Question regarding a Ren battle

So, I'm battling Ren's Aevian Roserade, telluric seed, tecnician(?), desert field and I just went 36 restarts in a row with Focus Blast not missing. Am I missing a detail in these circumstances that changes the hit rate of focus blast from 70% to 99.9999% or did i just hit some kind of statistical record with 0.7^(36)?

Hey there squad! It's time for me to swallow my pride and ask for trades to "catch..." them all. I need Happiny, Porygon and Tropius since I lost the chance to obtain them by making silly mistakes... As i should have most pokemon myself you can probably ask for anything in return, but i may have thrown away some good ones in wonder trade already while trying to avoid making this post :P Would be so thankful if someone sees this and wishes to help me out <3
