Oh really? that makes a lot of sense. I'm just getting back into pokemon fangames, so I forgot about the backup saves stuff. That would also explain why I got wondertraded two identical croagunks. So I assume this means I can trade it for a murkrow without taking away some dudes chance of finding their beloved gyarados again? posted before I finished, sorry. I was going to thank you for letting me know about this. I appreciate it, and i was doubting I could even find the original trainer again, so I really appreciate you letting me know.

hey guys, I understand if this sounds like a stupid question, but I was wondertrading and got a level 79 shiny gyarados called gai, and it really doesn't feel like the person really intended to wonder trade them. If you accidentally traded this pokemon, please tell me your username so I can give it back. But, to make sure no one else takes it for themselves, you'll have to tell me the gyarados's ability, and the item it was holding. I know what it feels like to make this kinda mistake, so I hope to find the original trainer soon.
