    Alright so I was thinking about this again, and I tried just making a new save file, which worked. I lost my old save file but it was fine apart from the 2-3 hours I played before the first gym. Anyway, for anyone else with this problem, just make a new save file and that should work. :)

    I have the same exact problem. I have tried re-downloading the game multiple times, but it hasn't fixed anything. Anyone know how to fix this?

    How do you get froakie? I see the new regional form in some you tube videos, but I can't find it in the wild. It also doesn't appear on my Rochester Trail encounters screen. I just started the game and I really want a fire/dark greninja for my team. I will try re-downloading the link, but I'm fairly sure I did it right. Nevermind, I patched incorrectly.
