Yes, I used the MEGA link for version 5.1 on the most recent post.

I was really excited to start this fangame because it looks really good, but when I launch the game, no matter the .exe I choose, there's always the same problem : When I start the game, instead of the title screen, I get a black screen, then instead of having the menu with New Game, Options, Controls etc, I get a white screen, black screen again during Rosetta's speech, the icons for the controls don't show up, I can only see one of the two sprites after choosing I was a girl, and finally after I enter my name, a RuntimeError pop up appears and the game crashes. What's going on ? --- --- --- ---

Then what's this control pannel for ?

Plus there's a command pannel on the right side of the lab that, whan activated, says "Somewhere in the lab, pannels have changed directions" or something like that. ...but where did it change ?

Well I got mudkip in v9 through that left exit, but it was way easier to get there back then.

Ok, so, maybe I'm just stupid (which is most likely the case), but I just can't find a way to reach the left exit of this lab in order to go and meet mudkip. Can someone please help me ?

Personnaly I do, but it just means that my 110 hours save file from v9 is unusable in v10 and above.

I have the exact same problem...

I guess I'll just have to do it all again... 110 hours... That's just heartbreaking.

The file editing solution is applicable, sure, but it won't change the overall atmosphere of "your character's a guy"...

Yeah, but the error message still pops up. And my character still has the same problem. As early as v10.

I changed location to go to the first "zone transition" building thingie, the one north of gearen docks, and I'm playing with medium size window with border activated

I get the error message as soon as I launch v10...

Yeah, sorry, I just spoke poorly. What I meant was, I don't have to replace files WITHIN the folder, right ?

So I just replace the game folder altogether, right ? Seems easy enough. Buuuuuuut, I can't find a working download link for v11

I don't remember the name, I think it's the secret shore (maybe...?). The place with the Xen lab and the Mudkip event and all the Gatrodons when it's raining.

Maybe it is because I switched directly from v9 to v12 ? Do you think I should try and go step by step with v10 and v11 in between ? I had made copies of my save file just in case.

Hello So, i just recently realized that I was playing on an old version of the game (v9), so I decided to download v12. But when I launched the game, not only did my sprite change (which was expected), but the gender of my character also changed from female to male (blue name and all) ! Plus, sprites on the map don't match the sprites during fights. My old map sprite : My new one : My old battle sprite : My new one : Plus, like I said, my character is now considered to be male... How can I fix this ? I have over 100 hours playtime on the game, I don't want to do it all over again...
