I think - some of the boss battles should be removed, personally? The Puppet Master was a great fight, in my opinion, but some of the other fights were better off without the "Max Raid" mechanics (and shields potentially needing multiple hits to break was a decision that gave me a lot of a headaches).

Agreed.  I think rather than get rid of the mechanic entirely it's just better applied to some of the 'boss' fights and not all of them.

I must be disagreed with this, that the players are being salty with the ones that are playing on less difficulty is just not an enough reason for push away the people that likes to play in a hard difficulty, im sorry but you can't talk about "accessibility" when you are pushing away part of your public just for a group of toxic users, you will delete intense mode but you will keep the easy mode for acessibility? That just doesnt make sense, the accessibility goes for both, the ones that looks an easy challenge for enjoy the story, the ones that wants a normal challenge but not to hard and the ones that looks for a very hard challenge, this isnt accessibility, is just push away part of your public away, if you were looking for a balanced game, you will have delete easy mode too and use standard as the main gamemode.

Im a big follower of this franchise and consider it the best pokemon game ever made, but this decission is a terrible idea if we are talking about accessibility and is not gonna fix the problem, dont you think the toxic that plays on standard will also insult the ones that plays on casual?  They will keep going because they are toxic users and nothing will change it

Please reconsider what you guys are doing, because this isnt gonna make things better, the accessibility is already there and this decission is only cutting out that accessibility

The toxicity is only a factor, not the main reason.  Go read Jan's post again.

Intense was becoming a hassle to play upkeep on, time they could have/want to spend polishing other parts of the game.  It's probably easier on them to work on intense after the base game is finished if they ever pick it back up again.

-Intense mode will be handed over to the community to work on as a mod if they so wish.

-When the game is complete, we will consider the possibility of restoring it officially.

  3. I can't imagine the kind of hellhole balancing would be for the game going forward while it's still in development when the devs have 200 other things to work on.  Especially with new moves coming up and the tweeks to field changes from v 13.

Admittingly i'm biased since I don't play intense mode, but even I was starting to think that the back and forth on the forums was getting a little out of hand with people who weren't satisfied with intense mode.

So I think it's better for the overall health of the game (and devs's sanity lol) while it's still developing to put intense on the back burner if it ever comes back at all.

  4. Don't know if it's like this for anyone else, but even after downloading the patch the screen still goes black when fiddling with the screen size.  Game confirms I have the latest patch installed in bottom left corner when loading up. (yes I put it in the bug reports i'm just asking if the patch is working as intended for anyone else)

On a related note, screen boarder is no longer an option after the patch.  Is it related to the bug?

  5. I doubt I'm one of the people who have to worry about this, but for those who do how serious are the repercussions for downloading v13 and trying to play it anyway if any of the issues you mentioned pop up?

I ask because the previous response to those who had concerns in the v13 discussion thread was basically 'get a better computer',

but now it seems to be a more legitimate concern with unfortunate unforeseen issues seeing as how a dev post needed to be made about it.

Full disclosure to players and devs; I'm not trying to sound like a dick, that's basically the advice that was given at least from what I interpreted from the previous discussion about a month ago.  And it sounds like you don't have to 'break the bank' or throw out some ridiculous cash in order to obtain a computer good enough to play this game.  There was even a graph given that honestly gave me a chuckle 😆:

I posted like 3 times and they always disappear so i guess i'm saying things i'm not allowed to say so i'm gonna try again.
Are you not allowed to post the answer of the question? If so i won't do it.

It was hinted at on the post for the first clue:

“Open and you will find a clue to the path forward. A trial awaits for you to solve on the way to your goal, but speaking the answer out loud will turn your words into dust.”

    Also on this post:

"Oh, and before I forget ‘n leave, they left me the same note as last time. Y’know... About words and answers turnin’ into dust or somethin’."

So yes, my guess is that it's a hint that posting the answers will result in them deleting your post.

one of the beta testers did state its definitely not the 9th, but whether or not to believe them is up to you. I'd happily like to believe they're lying to throw us off course but it would undermind the work trying to put a time limit on anything left to be done (unless already finished)

Oh for sure.  Like I said I just figured I must have missed something.
The devs already gave a general time frame more than once and unfortunately missed the mark the past year of development, so I would agree that they are probably trying to be more careful on giving exact dates even when they're this close.
If they do release it on the ninth though I'm more than happy to be wrong

You can join the discord by using the public invite. Just google Pokemon Rejuvenation Discord. it's the Reborn Evolved one. they have multiple channels. One portion is dedicated for Rejuvenation. I've seen some beta testing talk but not much.

    Yeah same.
All I saw was a bunch of speculation like what's happening here, nothing confirming nor denying that the 9th was the release date which is why I asked.  Figured if it was true I must have missed something or was looking in the wrong channel.

Alright man I mean you're not wrong, and it's not like I don't know all that but again, it's not that serious. Obviously people don't realize they are being inconsiderate when they make jokes like this.

I'm not trying to say you shouldn't remind people not to ask for the release date, just don't be so toxic about it. Every time it happens, zumi or somebody else says a quick quip to get them to shut up about it (the good way to do it) and then 2-3 self-proclaimed rebornevo protectors come out and write their paragraphs of heroism. Basically that just means someone new to the site is getting bullied into never posting here again. And frankly? Not a vibe. Cease this at once.

I'm going to give you the benefit of a doubt and assume you've read my first response on this page when Hassan asked before.
In which case point out to me where in my posts, both that one and the one you quoted, where I am being 'toxic' in my responses and I'll gladly take it under advisement.  I can only assume you think one of mine were since my post is the one you quoted, followed by ending yours with demanding I "Cease this at once."
In my first response, not only did I explain rationally why they haven't given a release date, but I pointed them in the right direction to at least keep up with the current progress as well as some encouragement.  In my second I answered your question (that you apparently already knew the answer to) I again addressed those that have patience and even those who have already lost theirs and explained why spamming the same question isn't very endearing.
If you're referring to my face palm pic, then fair enough.  But even if we include that your post comes off way more confrontational or 'toxic' than any of mine did.

But I digress, this next part is for the developers; if you feel I've been disruptive at all I'll take my forum warning point and offer my apologies.

I never understand why you guys get so genuinely annoyed at people getting impatient about new releases.

Because for the devs, I imagine getting asked "When is the game/patch/etc. coming out?" by who knows how many people starts to get real old real quick.

For those who haven't lost their patience yet, great!  They know that the devs will announce something when they have something to announce.
For those who have already lost their patience, fair enough, but try not to harp on the devs for an update.  Even if it's meant in jest, my guess is the devs aren't laughing when it gets to the point of becoming annoying.  All of us are just as eager to hear something from them as the next person.

    A release date maybe??

Its been two years since sooo a release date would be great...

Every time they've given or hinted at a time frame during this version's development they weren't able to deliver.  As a result of this I believe they are being more careful on choosing when to announce a concrete release date.

Right now the best you're going to get is going to:
    https://www.rebornevo.com/rejuvdev/
and keeping tabs on the testing phase percentage every few days or so.

They are aware that this version has taken longer than others, they're just asking for a little more patience as they make sure to tackle as many bugs as they can find before releasing.  Maybe they'll go into more detail on why it took so long closer to release, but for now just wait a little longer.  We're almost at the finish line!

idk if the question got answered, but what is the matter with dynamax? Is it coming to the game? If so you in every battle? And a additional question what about raids? Or are these features of gen 8 too "bad" or "broken" in some sort?

btw loving the game, cant wait for ep 13

Didn't look for the tumblr post made by Jan, but I did find confirmation from Zumi:

No dynamax, but it's true that Gmax mons are being implemented as custom megas -- Jan confirmed this a while back on his tumblr. We're still working out the details for them, but we'll do our utmost to make them similarly balanced like the canon megas!

So it will be out in a couple of months?

No one knows when v13 will be out.  As someone mentioned before even if the total completion on the site says 97% they most likely still need to do closed testing after it reaches 100%.
I'd be hesitant to predict any sort of release date at this point.  I made that mistake previously based on a timeframe Jan gave us saying a Spring/Summer release date would be too long of a wait, yet we are coming up on the middle of May currently with no concrete date.
A lot of delays occurred from unexpected factors of course, so right now the politically correct answer is:
"It'll be out when it's ready."

The last time the devs said "soon(tm)" was nearly a year ago so I'm a bit suspicious.

To be fair last time they said "soon(tm)" was a little under 4 months ago (unless someone can find a more recent post):
     https://www.rebornevo.com/rejuvdev/records/mega-medium-sized-post™️-v13-updatecontent-showcase-r24/?ct=1617642324

Granted four months doesn't fall under the definition of "soon" for some people I'd imagine, but as mentioned by Zumi It's more of a running gag at this point.

I get it though, honestly I'm personally guilty of coming to kind of hate the word whenever I see it in a dev update post ;-P
