The answer is pretty vague,
Ditto: Chase around the region until Route 4 after completing the Solrock quest
I understand what it means cause i have chased it until it said,
"Ditto went somewhere spooky" then it just disappeared. Forever.

Have you tried Goldenleaf and it's surrounding areas? I think there's also a graveyard somewhere right?
