  1. If it helps you can still get Klefki in the North Central rift den on route 4. It's a rare (blue) tier 3 den.

Also a random (I'm guessing unintended) feature with Klefki is you can duplicate items with it. If it's ability is magician and it takes your item, when you catch the Klefki it'll still hold the stolen item whilst you don't lose your original item.

After Adam you get access to Dive, not Fly. You get Fly the gym before I think

Yeah your right, even though the Dive HM is available during Chapter 11 you need Adam's badge. You get the HM Fly just before Adam's battle but requires Souta's badge

Seeing everyone here with their Garchomps and Metagross' is funny when I look over at my team. Which, here it is. Due to needing to play through the game again at some point this is first file team.

Gotta admire having Extrasensory and Psychic on Chimecho lol

  4. Copied this from the guide, hope it helps;

    41. Abnormal Phenomenon
    Location: Kakori Help Plaza
    - Enter the Kakori Help Plaza, and accept the "Abnormal Phenomenon" quest. Then head to the Weather Institute on Mt. Terajuma. The Rangers will explain that something in the jungle is interfering with the institute's frequency, and request that we investigate the cause of it, located
    at Great Terajuma Falls.
    - From the Institute, head down the south stairs, and go right to the entry way in the side of the mountain, then take the right elevator to reach the Great Falls. Once you've arrived, head forward with Alex and Sam. Ahead will be the source of the issues, being a Tornadus and Thundurs used to
cause irregular weather, as well as the person responsible. Defeat Mr. Hynde to continue.
    - Once you've defeated Hynde in battle, and the cutscene is finished, return to the Weather Institute and report your findings to complete the quest.

Rewards: $5,000, x1 Rare Candy, Bulbasaur, +1 Karma

  5. Won't go through my whole strategy for this battle as tl;dr but Obstagoon is great here.

I opened with Obstagoon using obstruct on the Jynx (and then KO with knock off). On the other side I had Froslass which with snow cloak and bright powder it starts with +2 boost to evasion. Froslass uses stealth rock (if you caught the rift version) and then will o wisp/flash on everything else. Also have Parting shot on Obstagoon is really helpful. Those 2 alone do so much damage to Angie's team you can be flexible with what you use for your other 4 slots.

  6. For the Xara/Jean fight I found stealth rocks comes in clutch if you can afford to set it up. Lycanroc can take easy KO's with accelerock on the Yanmega and Fearow. Pair it up with Blaziken (or Meinshao) using high jump kick which can KO Delcatty, glaceon and Copperajah. Drill Run from Lycanroc can work on Overquill too. You might lose 2 or 3 mons but focus on clearing Xara's side as soon as possible.

After clearing Xara I used a Volcarona to set up on the Raichu with a few Quiver Dances and Roosts. After a few your stats should be high enough to start one shooting Jean's team. It took a many attempts to find the perfect battle though.

  7. Post Ryland (14th badge)

    Location: Zorrialyn Desert

    - Go to the east end of Zorrialyn Desert, right before Polilethal Forest. Upon approaching an Aevian Jangmo-o will run off towards Luck's Tent.

    - Enter Luck's Tent in the desert. After signing the contract, you will need 13 Black Prisms to purchase the Pokemon. Once you have them, speak to Doxine to purchase the Aevian Jangmo-o.

  8. In the previous version you used to be able to steal choice items, assault vest etc from opposing trainers with the covet/thief - fling - recycle combo but I don't think it's possible anymore

  9. Porygon Z

    Holding - Normalium Z

    Ability - Adaptability

    Thunderbolt

    Ice Beam

    Recover

    Conversion

Strat: Use normalium Z on conversion turn one. You'll get a +1 boost to every stat and become an electric type in this case (or whatever move type the first move in your list is). Adaptability means Thunderbolt has x2 stab instead of 1.5, coming off your already boosted +1 special attack. Ice Beam is good for coverage and with the stat boosts you're also fairly bulky to the point where recover can work too.
