I will admit, I went in with a not-so-ideal team, but I managed to win by the skin of my teeth. Persistence pays off, I guess!
My team is Cinderace, Swampert, Magnezone, Amonguss, Mienshao and Frosslass.
I handled her Meganium, Snorlax, and Zoroak OK-ish. I managed to kill her Togekiss with Magnezone, but am left with 1hp.
Then her goddamned Hydreigon.
This think can one-shot my team with an un-boosted Gilded Arrow. I know that because it happened. Just how much BP has that move?!
Luckily I had Amonguss out and it went for Nasty Plot, so I used Spore and switched to Mienshao and it went 1hp. It woke up, KO'd Mienshao, and I killed it with Ice Shard Frosslass.
How easy was it for you to defeat Melia?

It is Mienfoo. However, I trained up Scraggy, since it has High Jump Kick and Power-up Punch, plus Intimidate. My idea was Dark Typing makes Scrafty immune against Psychic types.

After barely beating Erick using a complicated strat ( which involved resetting until Frosslass froze Erick's Pokemon with Blizzard ), I started to think my team might not be the best. Granted, I know it's better to have multiple 'mons in your PC to switch for different occasions, and also the game encourages me to use Pokemon that I would usually dismiss, but still.
I suck at team-building, and I need handholding.
Box 2 and 3 have some Pokemon I used and were part of the main team in the past. Box 4 is only shinies, and Box 5 ... is Box 5.

In the building between Junction Bridge and the stairs to the Abandoned Sewer, where the Name Rater was, now is a clerk who will refuse me entry and say I don't have the power Ms. Devile is looking for. Anyone figure out what that means?

That did the trick. Only the game crashes when I talk to her. Maybe because I have the "Battle Me" quest active.

I've finally defeated Venam and I'm leveling my team ever so slowly in Goldenwood Cave, by having Melia with me to constantly heal them and help defeat wild Pokemon.
Is there a faster way to gain EXP? There is no breeder in East Gearen ( or if there is one, I haven't found them ) and the earliest one I know is in Goldenwood Town.

Also, after defeating Venam, you meet Tesla at the Train Station for Goldenwood Forrest. You can Gain/Lose points there too.

What we know:
The universe has been reset at least once before
Clear, Kieran and whoever they're working for (which has already been shown to be Madame X) are from an 'alternate universe'. I feel like the wording is important, in that it says not an alternate timeline.
The Melia family in this timeline is Erin, Alice, Allen and 'Maria'.
Maria says she 'remembers everything' when she activates her own super archetype powers shortly after winning the third badge from her.
Another person who remembers the time before reset might be Nim. At the beginning of V13, in the flashback part with Alexandra and Damien, Nim appears mid-sentence, warning the mc of something. So both of them were there when time was reset.

Back in V12, I chose Froakie as my starter, which was overall quite good. Now with V13 out, I began a new run and have trouble choosing my starter. I'm mostly inclined towards Torchic, as I've always used him for my Reborn runs. However, I saw people say Mudkip and Fennekin are also very good picks. I know a Mudkip can be found later in the game, but still. My other picks would be Treecko, Fennekin and Turtwig.

you get Life Orb - the "unlocked gate" is actually the upper left room in Almalissa Urben where you find Life Orb and Karen's diary on the table.
If you

you get the other Mega Stone from the Hidden Library 3 reward.
If you want, you can also
Spoilerpush Karrina to her death after she tosses Karen's body down the pit
and still get the Mega Stone, on the floor near the exit.
Personally, between Life Orb and Banettite/Heracronite, I chose the Life Orb.

Yeah, you need to unlock the basement of the grand hall to start the side-quest. If you haven't done it, take my advice: pack a lot of revives. The fking cave-in field effects were a nightmare.

Hey. So, I decided to start a series on Tapas about Reborn. The first episode is up and you can read it, it's not too big. I would appreciate some feedback and/or suggestions to improve the series.

So, I've made a little series where I write the adventure of the game. Or what I could in 15.000 words, while adding some personality, so it wont become just copied dialogues from the game.
I would like to add that I'm not a good writer, so it might be shit. But it was fun to write it. Some feedback and suggestions are welcome.
I need help in creating a banner and an icon. I tried doing them myself, but they suck. So if someone could help me, or at least give me a suggestion for a placeholder, that would be great.

So, I leveld up my Quilava to a Typhlosion, only to find out it won't mate with Ditto, so I need a female Cyndaquil to get the egg to complete the starter egg quest. Anyone willing to trade?

Can't pick a starter + Team Suggestions

Let me exemplify my thought process when I tried to select a starter an hour ago:
" I like both Tochic and Froakie. Who to choose... I'll go with Torchic, bcs I like him a lot. Speed Boost is great. But people said he's kinda OP, and I don't want my game to be too easy, so maybe Froakie. But mid-game he doesn't get any good moves, and I used him in the last playthrough, so maybe Torchc? But I used him a lot older playthroughs, so maybe Chimchar or Snivy? I picked Chimchar the very first time I played this game, so why not. But idk, I don't really want to choose Chimchar, I can get him later. Contrary Snivy is also cool. But I'm not really that fond of grass types, so ... [ repeat ad nauseam for an entire hour + resets after being uncertain ] "
Bottom line : I can't choose between Torchic or Froakie. Torchic gets Speed Boost, can learn Bulk Up for more stat increase, and I just like him. Froakie got Protean, so he can switch types, but the scarcity of moves for Froakie is troublesome, especially mid-game. I'm more and more inclined towards Torchic ( even more so after typing this goddamn essay, lmao ) but I still dk. And it probably doesn't help it's 01:30 AM.
Second problem, I am god-awful at team building. Usually, I just add my favorites on the team, thus no utility, and pure power through any battles, and a LOT of save scumming. And that got me boned heavily in previous runs in certain battles.
I plan to add Volcarona, Aegislash, maybe Gardevoir, Eevee ( for Extreme Evoboost with Batton Pass ) and Krookodile ( to recieve the boosts and use Power Trip, I saw a video with it and it rocked ). Maybe switch between to add the Rotom appliances.
Any suggestions I welcome dearly and greatly.
