    wow. Shit. uhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I currently have a team of semi-mediocre pokemon (gyarados, incineroar, golurk, magnezone, roserade, gardevoir)
and then theres people with teams full of psuedo legendaries like metagross or garchomp that sweep entire gyms.

    uhhhh Idk what to think.

    Forget pseudo-legendaries

I'm using the OG boys that got me this far

  2. That's not how IVs work.

The difference between a pokemon with 0 IVs in speed and 31 IVs in speed is exactly 31 at lvl 100.

You probably soft reset or catch 5-10 of each pokemon on your team to get decent IVs. That should take 5 mins tops. You should end up with 15 IVs in each stat on average. So that stat difference between a perfect IV pokemon will be miniscule for the majority of the game.

  3. I don't mind IV's. If you pick your strategy well, they become irrelevant. If you are really nitpicky, you can spend hours grinding up a pokemon if you wish.

Usually in a playthrough like this, you will have 12-20 pokemon on your squad trained up to handle any event. Get creative, dont just grind.

Now that's pretty difficult to say given his silence when Gardevoir kept insisting that they are a couple. He could have not said anything because what she said was true or because he was ignoring her because he's heard it from her too many times.

And the story seems to imply that Radomus and Serra would become a thing, given Luna's dialogue and Gardevoir's possessiveness of him when he was talking to her.

Personaly I feel that if he truly is in a relationship with her he should at least stop treating her like a pokemon (and by that I mean sending her into battles and stuff).

    Radomus:

Mega-evolves wife and sends her into battle

That is true, however, Unown has higher stats than Combee in every category apart from speed. Furthermore, Hidden Power can technically turn out to be every type (apart from Normal and Fairy in this case I believe). I will admit, though, that Unown is still of worse in regards to move(s), however, it can at least attack with a 72 base attack as opposed to 30.

Both are immune to Ground moves, Unown has 2 resistances (1/2 Fighting and Psychic), Combee has 3 (1/4 Fighting & Grass, 1/2 Bug), so that puts Unown at a disadvantage.

However, Unown has 3 weaknesses (2x Bug, Ghost, Dark) whereas Combee has 5 (2x Fire, Electric, Ice, Flying, 4x Rock), which puts Combee at a disadvantage.

Not necessarily saying one is definitely better/worse than the other but I think this shows that one can't say Unown is harder with certainty either.

Hustle combee has higher damage output and better speed than unown, especially if it isn't hidden power psychic

The list isn't just bio or adoptive families but everything said there is true last I checked.

Can you explain it to me. like when was it revealed that he married Narcissa (I forget the name, but I thought her husband's name was something else). Also when was his relationship with Nymeria explained. Who is marrienette?

Well Furret can learn Batton Pass by level up so you can kinda use it so set up for another Pokemon with an dmg reducing item or an item that prevents K.O. and it got good speed stats.

Farfetch can learn some good attacks like Sword Dance and Agility but its base stats are horrible. So to make it reliable you would need to set up a lot... :/

Mothim learns Quiver Dance at level 1 according to bullbapedia, so it can be good in the early game.

For Rapidash I used it as a kami kaze Pokemon to one hit something with a fire gem and Flare Blitz, but there are definetly better choices, tho its attack and speed stats are not bad. But I didn't use it for quite a while now and I don't think I ever will anymore.

I never used Delcatty and even in Pokemon XD or Ruby, Saphire and Emerald, I thought it was not good. But it got only 1 weakness and a speed base stat of 90 and it can learn a lot of stuff so maybe you can make it usable? But I don't know, I don't like it.

With Tropics I think you mean Tropius? For me it was a HM slave, nothing more....

Watchog can learn some good moves by level up like Baton Pass, Super Fang, Nasty Plot. Base stats are not terrible so it can be a set up Pokemon with some EV/IV training and also a dmg reducing item.

But like always, these are just my thoughts on this. Everybody is welcomed to correct me or state their thoughts on that.

I tried using quiver dance mothim, but it's bad typing and only special attacks are hidden power and confusion early. Outclassed by wormadam as a quiver dancer, which is not saying much.

The others have some potential, but I never heard of anyone actually using them.

  8. Relicanth in rock mono was useful

Obscene physical bulk. Good damage from rock head, head smash. Can set up rain for kabutops or others.

Anyone use farfetch, mothim, rapidash, ledian, furret, stantler, delcatty, tropics, watchdog?

Why would you torture yourself like that

This is my first playthrough of Desolation. I saw all the bug types early and I picked venipede starter, so I decided bug monotype

Little did i know, the first 2 gyms were going to destroy me. Whatever, I just beat the 2nd gym. I'm guessing hardest part is over.

The main reason behind these axes were well, Sewaddle early on as a "starter" is really bad, considering the first two gyms are Fire and Flying, it's just haha Hard Mode.

Damn, I currently started a bug monotype run, without knowing first 2 gyms were fire flying.

Could not beat the first 2 gyms without a EV training.
