  1. For this quest I think you need the exact Loudred that belonged to the original trainer. I think you might be able to get it back by using an old save file. For more on how to use old save files, check this thread out:

While this post says to rename the file to "Game.rxdata", that didn't work for me, so I renamed it to "Game" and deleted the file that says "Game" (and then I also deleted the other white files immediately next to that one just in case) and that worked. Make sure to paste the files somewhere else before you delete them in case you mess up.

  2. I'm experiencing an error that someone experienced last year. Glad that I found their thread on google cause I don't have to write out the error text now. A quote from their thread:

"I'm unable to connect online it says

Script 'Socket' line 224: Errono::ECONNRESET occurred.

An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host."

In the original thread, the mod said that it was a problem caused by the secret restarting and then they fixed it. Hoping it's the same problem this time. The original thread:

Hey, I have a Jangmo-o and an Eevee. (don't have a thunderstone). I can give you one of my spares if you give me your Ralts if that's ok.

I'll take the Jangmo-o. Currently trying to figure out why online play isn't working for me, but my online name for online play is "Cyypher". If I'm able to get online before you see this I'll try to have the game open and waiting for the trade. If not then leave your name and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

  4. I'm looking for either a Jolteon or an Eevee that I can evolve into Jolteon.

    For trading I can give a Volcarona (61), a Golurk (59), a Talonflame (70), a Sylveon (62), a Gliscor (68), an Elgyem (30).

(I already made the jangmo-o trade below, but Gabite and Larvitar are still available for the eevee/jolteon trade.)

For Jangmo-o the only trade I have that'll likely be fitting is Gabite (31). Larvitar at lvl 1 might be acceptable as well, but I'm not sure. Gabite and Larvitar can also be traded for the Eevee/Jolteon, though. Since I'm at the water lady's gym I can beat her and get Jangmo-o with rock climb, I'm sure. Just a matter of whether I want to play that far with all the grinding and whatnot.

  5. Hopefully I titled this right. My name for trading is either "Cyypher" or "cyypher". Can't remember if the "c" is upper or lowercase.

So in the mystery egg thing I got larvesta and evolved it into Volcarona. As cool as it looks, I'm iffy about the bug/fire pairing because I don't think I'd be able to use it well, so I'd like trade it. It's lvl 61 with a Vain nature. The big thing I'd like to get for it is a Charizaridite X. If lvl 61 is too low I can grind it up to a higher level first. But currently, Charizaridite X is the only thing that would get me to play through ep 18. Which might sound weird, but I was playing up to 18 hoping that Charizaridite would be available before the boss fights etc and when I saw through playthroughs months ago that it wasn't it killed my motivation. (Seeing how much you have to go through in that ep also compounded that, albeit.) Only just now learning that item trades are possible, so I wanted to try that.

Another trade option for Charizaridite X would be a Gible, but that's currently only around level 31, so I doubt that would be desired. Besides X, Gible isn't up for trade since I might carry him into a new game with this mod that I'm using.

Besides the search for Charizardite X, I have some trades that could potentially help out players at lower levels in the game. A lvl 38 Ninetails, lvl 50 Vivillion, lvl 58 Crustle, lvl 26 Nuzleaf, lvl 54 Wishiwashi, lvl 33 Croagunk, lvl 35 Skrelp, lvl 58 Druddigon, lvl 54 Hawlucha, lvl 57 A-Vulpix, lvl 38 A-Sandshrew, lvl 1 Gastly (from Wonder Trade: negative Speed, positive Defense Nature).

For the above trades, since I likely won't be finishing the game without X, I don't have any heavy stipulations for them. These would just be for fun, so even lvl 1 recently hatched Pokemon would be cool. If you'd like the Pokemon to be de-leveled or either evolved and then de-leveled prior to the trade I'll see if I can quickly rack up enough common candies for it before I reply. Just list whatever level you'd like it to be reduced to. I'll try to get it as close to that level as I can before I run out of motivation.

  6. Spoiler

I'm new to the forums, so hopefully I'm not in err for posting here, but I wanted to give a few thoughts.

I'm not really upset about being on the 'zekrom path' because it flies in the face of everything that Lin is proposing. Her whole deal of power over relationships and such is utterly disproved by Taka's involvement in the Water Treament Center, for example, where Titania makes the observation that the player would have no real chance to stop Meteor's machinations there without Taka's help. So it's possible that Taka's death (essentially following Lin's philosophy) would, and perhaps even should, have serious negative consequences for the future, as he should be a vital ally for the future.

The OP for example makes the case that we should have known that battling Taka was wrong because we see that Titania's decision leading up to that particular dialogue choice was wrong; however. The problem I see with that is the fact that Taka and Titania are fundamentally different. Taka is fulfilling a duty, whereas Titania is being selfish. She's afraid to lose Amaria and choosing the coward's path of appeasement whereas Taka is staying true to his duty and doing his best to steer Meteor (really, doing his best to steer his family's "priesthood") towards a properly righteous end. If he were to give up on that duty and run away from it, only then would he be fundamentally similar to Titania. So the player, what we are choosing, is to either create a situation where he continues that fight, or to create one where he takes Titania's route of appeasement and dies: He either goes all the way through with everything and faces his consequences at the end, or he commits suicide essentially and avoids true consequence while subsequently foregoing righteous ends for selfish gains. He is both Titania and Amara at the same time, it seems to me. This may not be the "true end" to me, but it should be according to the interal logic of the story. So I'm satisfied.
