[Litleo glitch]

After acquiring TM Cut, I returned to Obsidia Ward and went down to the "hidden" warehouse you need cut to get to. Inside, you can get Plusle or Minun. There are also a Manetric and Electrique surounding a pokemon, a Litleo I believe.

 

Well, after giving a Pokesnack to Plusle, and before confronting the other three pokemons, I saved and quit the game. Today, when I opened the game, the Electrique and Manetric were gone and only Litleo was left, who will run away if you talk to him.

 

Pretty sure there was a fight that got skipped between saves.

 

Should I attach any files? If so, please let me know.

 

Edit: Soooooo. I went back to a precious save, and when I return to the warehouse, the manetric/electrique are not there, and it's just litleo. Did you guys change the encounter overnight, or did I have hallucinations about those pokemon?

I managed to solve the problem like this. Hopefully it helps.

 

Before, the mkxp-z.exe (the game-z) used my Intel (R) UHD Graphic card, which is the power saving one.

 

 

Windows does this automatically, so I tried forcing it to use the Nvidia graphic card and it worked like a charm. Here is how I did it:

• If you are having this problem, check in Task Manager, Performance, if you have a second GPU to change to.

 

• In case you do, try changing the GPU the game uses like this:
  • Go to Settings
  • Open System
  • Open Display
  • Scroll down and click Graphic settings
  • Click Browse and look up the game-z.exe that's having trouble.
  • Click Options and change it from System default to High performance
  • Save
  • Execute the .exe, the problem should be solved.

Hey @Knight, did you manage to solve it? I have the exact same problem, and can't seem t find a solution. Neither re-downloading nor updating the drivers solve the problem.

That was also my understanding (from reborn, where I have no such problems), and that is why I tried to play the z one. Btw, if any mod comes around, while playing I found a few trees on top of which you can walk or behind which you can not walk. Should I report them?

Hi! I just downloaded the last version of the game (Version 5.1, 07/07/2020), and when I try to open the "game-z" launcher, the game opens but its riddled with green stripes, and they don't go away. I'll share some screen shots.

I don't have this problem when simply opening the "game" launcher.

 

 

 

Fun fact, it's the first time I try this game, and seeing as it was called desolation, and the dude at the beginning says something about "See what you have done. Do you enjoy the world you have created?" or something like that, I totally thought the green lines where normal and thought it was quite original. Still, it was really hard to read xD

[Can I get a shiny from an exchange? And does it appear shiny when it comes out of the ball?]

Hi,

I'm trying to get a shiny litten, and I've tryed exchanging my Stantler for the Litten that is offered, but I've gone through way more soft resets than I usually have to. I understand it can be chance, but I started to wonder if it even is possible to get one from an exchange.

If it is, I also wanted to ask if, when the pokemon comes out of the pokeball in the exchange animation, if it is shiny, does it appear with the shiny sprite or do you have to go to look at the summary to check? Just to see if I can hasten the process by not having to check every single time.

Hi there!

I'm playing version 16.2 and I just defeated Terra, but then I realized I didn't have The HM waterfall to continue the story. The think is, when I went to defeat Blake I didn't go first to his appartement and didn't take the HM, so now I'm stuck. 

Actually, I found this threat were "soo3e" had the same problem as me. You solved it by uploading the game file and fixing it, so i'm going upload it as well. I would realy apreciate it if you were able to fix my problem.
