And the earliest Thunderstone you can get is from Mining. Once you get the Mining Kit on Chapter 5.

I Found it, its a tree but it wasent an actually tree, it was a cut tree, IM so dumb...

I don't think so. You just have to find the right tree. It's hard to miss, but I admit that I ran past it a couple of times until I finally noticed it. Just keep on pressing c or z on the suspicious tree.

If you're talking about the help center quest in West Gearen (?), there's a thing in Goldenleaf town (Ghost gym leader area) There's a pathway up to a tower, I think after 7 (?) badges the tower will unlock and then you complete the Odd house quest that way. I haven't done it for awhile though so I don't remember if that's how you get in the tower.

Also, the characters in general were redesigned, but Jan did include a 'revert to legacy design' feature in the patch, apparently.
