  1. Hello Again,

Thank you Cypher! I will take that into consideration for the next one a right. I'm still new at this type of music so thank you for the Feeback. I will try to tie emotional responses to my work!

Personal opinion of a person with hundreds of JRPGs behind him, while i do like the theme it doesn't sound anything like a battle theme. The only battle theme it would fit is a Suikoden 2 situation where you are forced into a bitter fight with your best friend and no one wants it, which is very much not the case here, otherwise it sounds like a cutscene OST where someone dies or explains tragic backstory or something equally sad. I also don't think it particularly fits for the "end of the journey" dungeon as well since it generally needs to build anticipation and excitement for the final confrontation, not make you depressed.

Personal advice, consider what state character are in in this point of time, what kind of emotions OST want to convey, what kind of feeling for this point you need to create for the player, also researching chord sequences that trigger certain emotional responses is a nice way to improve the OST too. Also just play a lot of games with great OSTs, hearing them and understanding why it works when you experience the moment really helps too.

  2. Good evening, Guys!

I am a music college student, which means I do not get to compose for what I want ever. I had some free time this week and wanted to compose for my favorite game as I have supported it since v7 I think. I primary compose for my college's band/orchestra or choir, so this is different for me. I want to compose for movies so if you want to listen, please do! Give me advice on what you do or do not like! This theme started out as a battle theme for Madam X but as I composed it sounds more like a Victory Road theme so tell me if either work! Or if you have any other ideas on where it would work in the game let me know. I am just trying to practice composing for places or battle themes.

I Uploaded it here if you would like to listen!

All you do is download the new version, extract it and run it like you did when you first got the game, the save file data is stored in a different location to that of the downloaded game folder itself and is called by all the various versions when loading ya file, so ya dont need to do anything to update, just download and load up your game in any location as long as that location isn't considered a dangerous place to load in, Pokemon Centers tend to be rather safe places to load in.

if ya mean where to find the game download itself however, just go to the link and open the 3 spoiler box iirc it should have instructions on where not to load up as well as hyperlinked:

    Mega
    Mediafire
    Local

here is the link in question to where on the site it is at.

    Thank You!

Let's avoid anymore DOUBLE LEFTOVER Florges. I still go to therapy for it.

Speaking off, why is it when a trainer is our battle partner, they are utterly incompetent and are at best, meat shields for us to set up, but when we fight them SUDDENLY they become a challenge and usually have unfair advantages and better AI. Compare and contrast fighting with Erin against the Rift Regi, to Challenger Erin.  It's also like Shelly from Reborn.

I Just remember fighting the psychic gym, in a matter of turns I was fight a double battle alone....

Given what the quest in question is, I'm not too sure that's the most efficient method either. You have to complete another quest to gain access to the island, it's still uncommon there, the held item rate is trash no matter where you find it, you have to pay a fee to access to it every time, and the usual trappings of the Safari Zone are in affect (which in turn means that you can't use Frisk to determine if it's holding the Magnet before you start the struggle of relying on the crummy Safari Balls to nail it). I wouldn't take this option, personally speaking.

I got it, thanks for the help!

Cherubi can be found on the roof of the Chrisola Hotel (which is in East Gearen, a little further east from Venam's Gym). They're pretty common, so the hardest part is finding the place. 🤷‍♀️

    Thanks!

They exist in Carotos Mountain, but aren't especially common, and they only have a 5% (or 20% with the Compoundeyes trick) chance to have what you're looking for to boot. Your best bet is to raise up a magcargo, a cherrim, and zebstrika and show them to the artist with the camper in the eastern portion of Route 2- it's still time consuming, but it's easier to pull off and you get other goodies out of it (including a handy TM for this game).

Thank you, do you know where to find a cherrim?

Funny. That didn't happen after I beat the electric gym 🤔

Well I'm re playing the game and Jan changed everything and I'm fighting him right now, I will tell you if I beat him.  The gym got changed.
