Where do I go to find Tesla's daughter and Venam after they ran out of the room when talking with Tesla?

I'm stuck in the log part of his maze and I can't move any of the logs or do anything else to get out of here. Unfortunately I quicksaved instead of soft resetting in the spot I'm stuck on so I'm also an idiot for doing that.

I guess I missed a bookshelf because I didn't find those blueprints yet. Thanks for the help!

Sorry, should've clarified that I'm Emma in the library.

I've looked at every bookcase and hit z on everything but nothing seems to appear. I read that when you interact with one of the glass bookshelves, an event occurs. I've interacted with all three of them and got the same message saying that the books are locked behind a glass pane and that I can't open it. Bug?
