And who said I play for fun? I always play to win and do so competitively. If I can't hang with the meta, I leave or try to get better. For me, fun comes from winning and from trying your best to succeed. But with this game at that current time, I felt like it wasn't worth my time anymore. Because even if I did conform to the meta and play the lamest OTK deck, I still wouldn't feel that I'd accomplished anything. Besides, in a year or two, the deck I'd be playing would be completely irrelevant. It's hard to be serious about a game when you know that no matter how good you are with a certain deck, it's going to be hit and you'll have to learn a new meta deck eventually. Kinda defeats the purpose of mastering your deck.
