  1. from what I remember, in earlier versions you could only change the difficulty when Luck was in gearen, later he would leave and setup near grand dream city, but you couldn't change the difficulty when he was there, does it still work the same way? I lost my save files due to problems with my old computer so I had to buy a new one, and I want to get to the new content as soon as possible, so I wanted to know if I could play on "easy" and then change it to normal when I'm back at where I used to be.

  2. Sunflora crest: multiplies special attack by 1.2 or 1.3, multiplies speed by 1.8 or 2, and sets up the sun on switch in.

assuming the Drought ability it gets from the crest doesn't replace its original ability, it can get an extra x1.5  to special attack with solar power or a x2 to speed with chlorophyll, so the crest multipliers would have to be adjusted based on that. but I think Sunflora needs a pretty big amount of help, as it is pretty much unusable by the time you reach the first crests in the laberynth.

Regardless of what you choose, the quest ends there. The reward, however, changes based on your choices.

If you let Karen die, you'll get the Mega Stone ou didn't choose earlier in the side quest as thanks for helping Karrina get her revenge in the end; I don't know if this is still true if you choose to cast her into Hades as well, however.

Your decision matters more in the long term than than in the now, however.

Specifically, letting Karen die has been confirmed as a required step toward getting the worst possible ending, and since she's one of the Elite 8, she'll have to be replaced when we get to that part of the game. Similarly, every death that occurs there will negatively impact your Karma score, which is inevitably bound to impact the story in more ways than just one ghost judging you (the collapse near Hiyoshi was a Karma check) later in the game.

    I chose to stop her.

    Phew.

  4. In karen's sidequest in castle zygara, there is a choice:

    Spoiler

Letting karrina kill karen or stopping her

And after one of the choices, another one:

    Spoiler

Pushing karrina down the hole or not

I know that after choosing the first choice the closed room in alamissa opens, but what do the other two choices do? Does the quest continue or does it end there?

You need to start Karen's sidequest to enter it and it is accessible via the uppermost floor of the Zorrialyn Labyrinth

where do I start the sidequest?

    edit: nevermind, found it

  6. I haven't used a torterra in rejuv but I used roserade in a grass run and it was the carry of the run lol. Idk, I feel like even with a speedy nature, it won't really attack first a lot of mons and you can bet you'll see a lot of mons carrying ice beam/blizzard. and honestly it won't help you much for the gym. the field is designed to cover the ground weakness and it screws torterra over pretty hard. if you have team slot you could use it, but I'd say you should switch it later for a better ground mon.

You have to advance until a certain point, then go back, change the mood of the mountain to calm and Venam will be there, talk to her and you should be good

I went until the barricade where saki gives you magma drift, but then the mood is fire and I can't go back. should I just keep advancing?

  8. I got one by talking to the hiker in the kimono girl house after finding and beating them all. Idk if it was there in earlier versions though. I did all the sashila village quests except for novae's and all of the new gearen quests and didn't get any more.

  9. yeah, most users here are super nice and like to help.

maybe sometimes you'll ask for a certain pokemon freshly caught in the wild and someone will show up and give you one with 6 IVs, optimal nature and some egg moves, and maybe an item.

you might feel bad when you trade back a wild pokemon though...

but yeah, I personally never have seen negative posts or comments in this forum, so feel free to ask for tips, items and trades whenever you need them, I'm sure someone will help you out.
