    Well, a lot of things can change from the transition from beta to release in any game so that may be highly plausible.

    Wait, I thought Shade's and Anna's points will go up if you "don't" fight Taka according to RPG maker. Which is kinda sad, since the dialogue you get when you deny him is just a stab in the heart, but you have to do it to increase Shade's and Anna's mysterious points.
