I've got a crobat already trained up for the next gym. Where do I find the amulet coin? Right now, the trainers at the grand hall only give out $1000 for each battle I win. I also can't get the luck incense as I evolved the Igglybuff and the lady won't accept it if it has evolved. Is there a pc inside devon corp to swap out pokemon with?

I'm not sure Amulet Coin is avaliable right now... IIRC the only cash-boosting item should be Luck Incense =\

And yes, there's a PC, but:
    1) You'll be stuck in Devon until you beat everyone in there.

    2) After a while in Devon, going back to the PC/healer will be a pain in the butt after all the puzzles, so BE READY.

what i meat by "asking again" are because i'm asking a new question in the same content thing, and what should i breed my growlithe with to get an egg from it? i'm only asking so it's gets easier for me and curious how to do things even thou i have played the game once/twice before

If you have a female Growlithe, you need to breed her with any male pokemon in the same egg group (in Growlithe's case, it's Field).

    http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Field_(Egg_Group)

If you have a male Growlithe, then you can only get a Growlithe egg by breeding it with a Ditto.

i'm asking again, but where do i get the mystery egg?

Asking again? You asked for steel types, people answered where you can get steel types avaliable to you at that point in the game. I don't get the need of "asking again".

As for the Mystery Egg, it's a sidequest from Jasper Ward. You get it by breeding a Growlithe Egg, and giving it to one of the policeman in the police station. In return, you'll get a Mystery Egg, which has a 1/18 chance of being a Drilbur.

In the "Team Showcase" subforum, there's a post for monorunners which includes what pokemons you can get between gym badges, categorized by types; check it out.

  4. That rock gets removed by dumping a strength-movable rock on top of it, which you have to access in a higher floor.

To reach that floor, well, watch the guide Lightseeker linked you.

  5. For me, the hardest part about going to Agate Circus and being stuck there is having no choice but to fight that clown Indra in order to cut grinding time, instead of the trainers in Grand Hall.

Not only some of his teams are hard AF at that point, but it's a roulette, as in you don't know for sure what you'll be fighting against.

Plus, EV training is way easier in the city (i love that spot under Opal Bridge, with the 2 shadows triggering lvl 5 Woobat fights (with pokerus and power items, you can train sweepers in no time, without having to run from fights due to non-desired EV yield).

  6. If Randall Lost Key is the guy with the Klefki from the prison where the ritual with Luna took place, then yeah, all those quests take place after you beat Ciel and come back with Fly to the city, except the Coral Ward Quiz (that one begins as soon as you get to Coral Ward, but IIRC more quizes are unlocked with the same girl the more you progress with the game).

The Corin-Rogue quest, though, starts as soon as you get your starter pokemon (the shady salesman in Great Hall); and it continues through the whole game (or what's avaliable up until now, and E17 at least).

  7. If you are REALLY cheap, any pokemon with Destiny Bond or Perish Song works too.

Not my proudest moment, but monoruns are hard man. =\

Also, if you have someone with Will-O-Wisp, that'll compensate a bit for the healing and cut his attack.

I think we're all talking about the same woman here, but at least that's the one I'm referring to.  From what I remember, she was down there as soon as I first entered 7th street, after taking on the Psychic leader and Gossip Gardevoir.  I had talked to her many times prior and she never said anything different.

The woman with the green dress, you saw her down on 7th street? Weeeird...

I'm WAY past the point of Radomus-Gardevoir gym battle (I have to battle Adrienn now), and I cant see her in 7th street... is it a day-night thing?

Spoink's pearl is tied in with the wedding ring and underwater cities sidequest (all really fall into the same sidequest I think).  It all starts by diving down and exploring the houses in the underwater cities in the lake (the huge dive spots).

Is the "woman who needs herbs for her husband" in 7th street?  If so, that is a short sidequest where you get a starter's egg as a reward.  You will need a floral charm for this one and will need to find it in the too big Route 1 forest (bottom half).

Is that the woman with the sick husband on Lapis Ward, in the building next to the tunnel to North Obsidia? How do you trigger that quest? She's always saying the same thing to me: "No, no, that would be unthinkable. Nevermind. I dare not even mention it."

No, I don't. Thanks for letting me know, though now I have to ask, you get the shiny charm at the end of the current version right?

I think you could get it on E15, before beating Ciel, but you need to make a specific set of choices when prompted on the main storyline.

Shininess of the parent doesn't influence the child, from what I've heard.  It seems you are just unlucky.  Do you have the shiny charm yet?

Oh, does the shiny charm increase the odds of a shiny breeding too? I thought it only affected random encounters... good to know!

How long did that take?  It took about an hour for me to get 5 of them just above 25.

30-40 minutes? Did the whole thing with perma-alt (x3 speed) while youtubing on the side, so i kinda autopiloted it

At what point you do the reset? Now in my second run, i am very interested in getting a decent ditto...

On the Ditto event? You can get one after you break out of the factory (the cages puzzle, where you break the bars with cyndaquil+vanillice+roggenrola), you go back in there and get the Ditto from there.

    OR

(IIRC) You can get it (if you didn't do the event) on 7th street in exchange for shards (vendor with caged pokemon).

You save right before getting the Ditto, you check the stats, and if it's not good enough, F12 and try again

If you want good ivs you can reset for them (only works for event pokemon that you don't have to battle)

Yup, as Njab said... resetting is specially worth it when doing the Ditto event (managed to get a 31/31/30/30/x/31)

Are IV's Luck based? or completely random?

Btw, what's the difference? Is there a Luck stat somewhere, that i'm missing? xD

Some very kind user gave me a Pokemon I as looking for with perfect IVs, Pokerus, its hidden ability, good moves (heat wave, hypnosis, magic coat, and wish) and was holding a Destiny Knot. Is there any way to breed the Pokemon so that it's stats and moves are passed down? I've got a Ditto ready for breeding, but not sure what its IV spread is or if that'll affect it the bred Pokemon anyway.

The way breeding works is that (without any items) the offspring will inherit 3 stats from its parents at random, while the other 3 stats will be RNG generated.

If either one of the parents (doesn't matter which one) holds a Destiny Knot, instead of 3 stats, the offspring will inherit 5 stats at random from its parents (not necesarily the one holding said item), while the remaining stat will be randomly generated.

Also, if either one of the parents know egg moves (check bulbapedia for a list of egg moves for that specific pokemon), the offspring will know those too.

That ladder you have in your screenshot was accessible via the cog to the left of the Grand Staircase. However as of Ep 16 that route is closed off. The cave on my screenshot I'm pretty sure has only appeared in Ep 16, so I assume it is now the way into Arc d'astrae. But I can find no way to get to it.

Nope... that cave is in fact part of the original path to Citee Arc d'Astree and was on E15, and is connected to the cog (as you stated) and the ladder of your 2nd screenshot.

As of E16, after you beat Ciel and Fly back to the city, you can't get to Citee Arc d'Astree at all (you can still see the path in the cave under the staircase, though).

I found this. Is it possbile to reach? Where does it leads?

    2.png

There's a whole portion of that cave that's connected to the Citee Arc d'Astree path (isolated from the parts accesible through the hole at the staircase), which you did go through during that part of the walkthrough... if you haven't, then just follow the storyline and eventually you will.

  18. 51 minutes ago, Dai Laughing said:

Ah I see. I must have that as I started in Ep 15. I still can't access that cave entrance to Citee Arc d'Astree, more exploring required I think.

If you went through all the storyline of E15, you did go through that cave entrance.
